BOOTS & LEGS
Start with 5 chains in the color of your boots. Crochet sc around the chains, starting at the 2nd chain from hook:
Rd 1: 3 sc into 1 st, 1 sc, 1 sc, 3 sc into 1 st, 1 sc, 1 sc = 10 stitches. That was the 1st round of your sole.
We continue crocheting sc in spiraling rounds, following the chart. Don‘t forget to stuff the legs every now and then!
Rd 2: inc*3, sc*2 , inc*3, sc*2 [+6] = 16 st
Do not crochet into the rest of the round. You have reached the heel. Your new round starts right here:
Change color to white.
Rd 14: 1 rd sc (white) = 12 st
Change color to black.
Repeat rounds 13-16 another two times (which leaves you with 3 black and 3 white stripes). Change color to white.
LEG 1: crochet another 6 sc in the round, until you reach the back of the boot. Cut yarn and yarn off.
LEG 2: crochet another 10 sc in the round, until you reach the „crotch“. Add another 4 chains, which we will use to connect the legs, but do not yarn off yet!

BODY
Adjust the legs to the right position (toes pointing slightly to the outside), and connect leg 2 to leg 1 by simply crocheting sc around leg 1. Continue in the round by crocheting a sc into each of the 4 chains between the legs, then 16 sc around leg 2. This leaves you with a round of 40 stitches. Now follow the chart:
Don‘t forget to stuff the body every now and then!
Rd 2: (9 sc, inc)*4 [+4] = 44 st
Rd 3: 1 rd sc = 44 st
Rd 4: (10 sc, inc)*4 [+4] = 48 st
Rd 5: 1 rd sc = 48 st
Change color to red.
Rd 6: 1 rd sc = 48 st
Rd 7: 1 rd sc into blo = 48 st
Rd 8: (10 sc, dec)*4 [-4] = 44 st
Rd 9: (9 sc, dec)*4 [-4] = 40 st
Rd 10: (6 sc, dec)*5 [-5] = 35 st
Rd 11: 1 rd sc = 35 st
Rd 12: (5 sc, dec)*5 [-5] = 30 st
Rd 13-17: 5 rd sc = 30 st
Rd 18: (4 sc, dec)*5 [-5] = 25 st
Rd 19: (3 sc, dec)*5 [-5] = 20 st
Rd 20: (3 sc, dec)*4 [-4] = 16 st
Rd 21: (2 sc, dec)*4 [-4] = 12 st
Rd 22-26: 5 rds sc into blo = 12 st
Rd 27: dec*6 [-6] = 6 st
Yarn off and weave the yarn end through all front loops of your last round (6 st). Pull tight to close the gap. Weave in the yarn end. Now push the formed neck inside the doll‘s body (use pincer or tweezer or handle of your hook).

NECK
In skintone:
Rd 1: MR, 5 sc into the ring = 5 st
Rd 2: inc*5 [+5] = 10 st
Rd 3-6: 4 rds sc = 10 st
Rd 7-8: 2 rds sc into blo = 10 st
Rd 9-12: 4 rds sc = 10 st
Stuff the neck well.
Rd 13: dec*5 [-5] = 5 st
Yarn off and use the yarn end to weave through all stitches left in your last round. Pull tight to close the gap, then sew in yarn end.

HEAD & FACE
Follow the chart (in skintone):
Do NOT yarn off yet!
Now embroider the pink cheeks with 2-3 stitches onto the bottom round (8 st between cheeks), and the lashes 2 rounds above (11 st between lashes).
Knot together or weave in the yarn ends of the cheeks and the lashes on the inside of the head.
Arrange the safety eyes into the right position, then secure them on the inside of the head.
Continue working on the head (in skintone), following the chart:
Yarn off. Stuff the head well, then weave the yarn end through all front loops of your last round (6 st). Pull tight, until the gap closes. Now push the neck, that formed, inside the doll‘s head (use tweezer or handle of your hook). Weave in the end.

ARMS (x2)
In skintone:
Chain extra 4 to shape the „thumb“, then continue crocheting the arm in rounds:
Bring the „thumb“ to the front, then continue crocheting the arm in rounds:
You can add some stuffing to the hands. The arms do not have to get stuffed neccessarily.
Yarn off, but leave a long tail to attach the arms to the body. Crochet another arm in the same way.

HAIR
In black:
Do NOT yarn off!
ATTENTION: because the black yarn is hard to see in the pictures, I will use grey yarn instead. You continue crocheting with black yarn.
Crochet another 20 sc in the round, then chain 21. Starting with the 2nd chain from hook.
Crochet sc stitches into all the chains, until you reach the starting point. Close with a sl st into the next stitch of the hair.
Repeat this with strands of 18, 15, 12, 15, 18, and 21 chains, then crochet another 23 sc into the round of the hair.
Split the 7 strands into 4+3 on left and right side.
Attach the strands to the hair stitch by stitch and strand by strand with your needle. Do not sew into the very last 2-3 stitches of each strand – this is how the little curls at the end of each strand are made. Weave in all yarn ends.

ACCESSORIES
Cap, in pink:
Rd 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring = 6 st
Rd 2: inc*6 [+6] = 12 st
Rd 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 [+6] = 18 st
Rd 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc)*6 [+6] = 24 st
Rd 5: (3 sc, inc)*6 [+6] = 30 st
Rd 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc)*6 [+6] = 36 st
Rd 7: (5 sc, inc)*6 [+6] = 42 st
Rd 8: (3 sc, inc, 3 sc)*6 [+6] = 48 st
Rd 9: (7 sc, inc)*6 [+6] = 54 st
Rd 10-20: 11 rds sc = 54 st
Yarn off, but leave a long tail for attaching the cap to the head later.
Horns, in red (x2):
Rd 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring = 6 st
Rd 2: 3 inc, 3 sc [+3] = 9 st
Rd 3: 1 rd sc = 9 st
Rd 4: 3 inc, 6 sc [+3] = 12 st
Rd 5: 4 inc, 8 sc [+4] = 16 st
Rd 6: 1 rd sc = 16 st
Yarn off, but leave a long tail for attaching the horn to the cap later. Make a second horn after the same pattern.
Scarf, in pink:
MR, then crochet into the ring: 2 ch, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 ch, 1 sl st. Pull the ring tight, do not yarn off. Chain another 70, then crochet sc into the chains (starting at 2nd chain from hook), until you reach the starting point. Close with a sl st into the heart, then yarn off and weave in the ends.

SKIRT
In red: turn your doll upside down, find the 7th round of the body (the one you crocheted into back loops only, it has 48 stitches), and into this round crochet dc stitches all around the body. Increase every 4th stitch. This leaves you with a round of 60 dc stitches. Close rd with a sl st. Start 2nd rd with a chain 2, then crochet another 59 dc in the round without increases or decreases.
Crochet the next (and last) round like this: (skip1, 4 dc into 1 stitch of previous round, skip 1, 1 sc). Repeat info within brackets, until you reach the end of the round (x15). Yarn off and weave in the ends on the inside of the skirt.

ASSEMBLY
Now assemble body, neck and head, and sew the parts together well. Therefore use the blo rounds you created before. I highly recommend to double the yarn for attaching, to make your doll strong and steady.
Attach the arms 2 rounds underneath the neck on both sides. Arrange the hair, and use the yarn ends to attach it to the head.
Put the horns into the right position, and attach it to the hat with a few stitches.
Depending on if you want the cap to be removable, attach the hat to the head or leave it lose. Wrap the scarf around the shoulders, and…
